We've been reading this a lot at Huntsbury Preschool! The tamariki love looking for their Dads and finding all the ones described in the story. We've had some great discussions about the pink sparkly dad and what dads are 'supposed to' look like. The illustrations really reflect our diverse community and value everyone. A fun book with rhyming language, celebrating dads and their relationships with their children, showing a diverse range of dads and I feel that almost everyone would be able to see a dad like theirs within the pages.
With a rocking beat and so much going on in each spread, this is a great book to read aloud with your kids.
